The Oregon City Skate Competition presented by the Oregon City Optimist Club and Skate Legion of Milwaukie will take place on Saturday, May 9th, 2009 at the Oregon City Skate Park. The event kicks off at noon following the Oregon City Teddy Bear Parade. Skaters of all ages will compete in three events based on the skater's skill level: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and third place skater in each event. The Skate Competition is followed by the "Best Trick Contest" and a raffle.
On-site registration: Registration starting at 10:00 a.m. in the NW Natural Gas Canopy near the Oregon City Skate Park in Clackamette Park, Oregon City. Contestants who register the day of the event need to make sure they have a parent or guardian signature. Forms not signed upon arrival will require a parent or guardian signature in person at the event site.
Pre-Registration: Skaters can pre-register by printing out a registration from from this site (below) and mailing it in with your entry fee.

The Oregon City Skate Competition is sponsored by Skate Legion of Milwaukie. From stickers to backpacks, safety gear to videos, Skate Legion has a selection that will please everyone. New videos to old classics, skate bags and school bags. They carry helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards and a wide selection of boards.
